With-Sorrow-Laden Yeoh (she/her)

The pilot of the Narcissus's Echo, a delivery ship available for both short and long haul courier jobs. Her primary contract is with Salix, running contraband and other favors for her across Consortium space.

Laden is also in possession of the Whisper, a mysterious psionic ability that allows her to hear others' surface level thoughts.

Physical description: Laden is roughly 5'5" and overweight. She is dark skinned and her hair is black and hangs down to her shoulderblades. Her nose is wide and bulges at the bridge, she also has a thin scar which runs from her left eyebrow down over the bridge of her nose and across her right cheek.

Salix Amarillo (she/her)

The most ambitious and the most junior lieutenant of the Amarillo crime family, Salix spends most of her time in and around her family's home base of Port Lupin.

She and Laden have been both personal and professional partners for several years, and is the only other person in her life Laden has told about the Whisper.

Physical description: Salix is roughly 5'8", slim with toned arms. She is fair skinned and has light hair which is cut to above her shoulders and worn in a spikey, fluffed out hairstyle. She has spell glyph tattoos on each of her arms which run from an anchor point on each shoulder down to an anchor point on each elbow and which end at smaller points on her wrists. The design is similar to the traces, or lines, on a circuit board with several running parallel between the anchor points.

Meredith (they/them)

Meredith is a soulgem android: a magic-infused gemstone powering a high-tech corpus. Formerly a high-ranking employee of a mercenary corporation and currently a bodyguard-for-hire, Salix has enlisted them as the muscle accompanying Laden on her latest contraband run.

Physical description: Meredith is roughly 6' with a muscular, athletic build. They are tanned and have lightly colored, wavy hair which hangs down to the bottoms of their shoulderblades. Their eyes are pitch black with light colored pupils.
